Description Maintain systems. Solve challenges. Keep operations moving. We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support equipment at our Daniels Health site in Easton, PA. This role involves servicing and maintaining electro-mechanical equipment, including robotic washlines, autoclaves, boilers, and other facility systems critical to medical waste processing operations. Travel and occasional short-notice support for emergency maintenance at regional sites are required. We're on a mission to make healthcare safer. Daniels Health provides reusable medical waste containers designed to reduce needlestick injuries and support sustainability. After use, we professionally clean and sanitize each container for reuse, while responsibly disposing of medical waste at our treatment facilities. Our closed-loop system ensures safety, compliance, and environmental responsibility for our customers.
What You'll Do:
Perform daily maintenance of production equipment Troubleshoot, service, and repair electro-mechanical systems on-site Communicate with Service and Engineering teams for parts, scheduling, and support Assemble, align, and install equipment upgrades within timeline and budget Coordinate downtime with Plant Managers for maintenance activities Provide weekly reports on completed and pending tasks Offer remote assistance to plants to restore production quickly Maintain Washsmart inventory at each location in collaboration with plant management
Must-Have Qualifications:
Strong mechanical experience with assemblies and production equipment Welding skills for basic repair work Electrical troubleshooting and repair capabilities Ability to diagnose and communicate PLC-controlled machine issues Experience with boilers Willingness to travel and respond to emergency maintenance needs
Nice-To-Have Qualifications:
Previous experience in medical waste processing or similar regulated environments Experience with autoclaves Knowledge of inventory management systems such as MaintainX Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
