The Opus One Maintenance Technician I is an entry-level position responsible for performing routine maintenance, repair, and inspection activities to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of facility equipment and systems. Working under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, this role follows established procedures and standards to ensure consistent, high-quality work. Key attributes for success include strong attention to detail, a commitment to learning, and effective collaboration within the maintenance team. Responsibilities may include basic equipment repairs, daily operational inspections, and assisting with preventive maintenance tasks. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Perform basic repairs, modifications, and preventive maintenance on facility systems and equipment under supervision Complete daily preventive maintenance inspections and monthly compliance inspections, i.e. fire extinguishers and ladders. Conduct routine cleaning and touch-up painting in interior and exterior areas, as assigned. Pick up and deliver supplies for winery departments. Support the Maintenance Supervisor in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment and tasting room and office hardware. Respond to urgent maintenance requests and support assigned projects. Notify leadership of replenishment needs of inventory items. Safely operate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and scissor lifts. Follow all winery safety protocols, including lockout/tagout and sanitation procedures. Operate industry tools including but not limited to hand tools, power tools, drill press, and pressure washer, etc.QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or GED (preferred not required). 0-3 years' of working experience and/or vocational training. On-the-job training provided. A basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, along with commitment to safety protocols. Mechanical skills will include the knowledge and proper usage of a wide variety of basic hand tools including workshop equipment, drill presses, saws, etc. Demonstrates a commitment to learning and adherence to established standards. Seeks guidance when needed to ensure accuracy and effectiveness. Communicates openly about progress, challenges, and outcomes. Valid Driver's License with insurable driving record. Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, lifting up to 50 pounds, and other activities necessary to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation.JOB REQUIREMENTS

Work is performed in various environments: indoor, outdoor, hot, cold. The individual will be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, toxic chemicals, electrical hazards, and fumes or airborne particles relative to normal cellar processes. :Base Compensation Range:
$21.00 - $34.00 USD hourly• Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. The base compensation range is base salary only. In addition to base compensation, all roles are eligible for individual performance bonus and company bonus that range from role to role.
