Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Swimming Pool Technician and become a vital part of maintaining pristine, safe, and inviting swimming environments. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring pools are clean, well-maintained, and operating efficiently. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional experiences for our clients and uphold the highest standards of pool safety and cleanliness. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in pool maintenance and equipment repair while working in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. Duties Perform regular pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and maintaining water clarity. Conduct routine inspections of pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorination systems to ensure optimal operation. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues with pool equipment using hand tools and power tools, minimizing downtime. Maintain chemical balance by testing water parameters and adjusting chemicals to meet safety standards. Carry out preventive maintenance tasks to extend the lifespan of pool systems and ensure compliance with health regulations. Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections accurately in logs for record-keeping purposes. Assist with opening and closing pools seasonally or as needed to prepare for peak usage periods or off-season storage. Qualifications Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair and troubleshooting. Prior experience as a service technician or in pool maintenance is highly preferred. Familiarity with pool cleaning techniques, chemical balancing, and routine maintenance procedures. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and other maintenance equipment required for repairs. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges. Pay:
$21.00 - $25.00 per hour
