Property Maintenance Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of three residential low income properties in South Kingstown RI through hands-on maintenance, repairs, and inspections. Typical hours are 8-4 (35 hour week) M-F with after hours and weekend on-call responsibilities for emergencies. Responsibilities Perform routine and preventative maintenance on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical equipment. Drywall repair, door installations, trim repair Painting projects to maintain property aesthetics and curb appeal. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, maintenance schedules, and inventory. Supervise or assist with subcontractors during specialized repairs or upgrades while ensuring safety compliance. Inspect facilities regularly to identify issues early and perform necessary repairs promptly. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs to ensure compliance with safety standards. Pick up property Snow removal and salting of property during winter weather conditions Requirements GED Ability to speak, read and write English Ability to use a computer and cell phone Prior construction, plumbing, electrical experience On site, in person work only

Pay:

$20.00 - $27.00 per hour
