JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
- Correctly interpret work order.
- Work in a team environment, i.e. follow instructions and assist others as needed.
- Assist in maintaining inventories (critical parts, supplies, etc.)
- Maintain and repair industrial electrical circuits.
- Ability to fabricate and install guards, steps, handrails, platforms, etc.
- Ability to enter and schedule work orders
- Ability to identify and implement preventive and predictive maintenance tasks.
- Perform all levels of facility maintenance tasks
- Mentor and train level 1 and level 2 maintenance technicians.
- Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
- Perform daily housekeeping / 6S activities as required.
- Perform other duties as requested by lead, supervisor or manager.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MUST have a valid US Passport or birth certification to be cleared
- High school diploma or GED required;
- 6•10 years of manufacturing experience; • Strong Welding Experience•MIG, STICK/Arc • Electrical / Wiring experience • Prior military experience; or technical certification / degree required • Intermediate ability to use all hand tools, wrenches, etc.
- Intermediate ability to use all power tools
- Intermediate ability to use diagnostic tools (amp probes, voltage meters)
- Intermediate ability to use basic inspection tools such micrometers, calipers, comparators
- Intermediate ability to navigate intranet to locate process documents
- basic computer skills
- Intermediate ability to read and interpret work instructions and intermediate prints and dimensions
- Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to thirty-five (35) pounds on a repetitive basis.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, climb, kneel, twist and work at heights on an intermittent basis for up to twelve (12) hours.
- Requires hand manipulation including simple grasping, pushing and pulling of materials.
- Must be able to safety operate an overhead crane, boom lift and manlift.
- Must be able to reach and work above and below the shoulder level.
- Must be able to work with and around forklifts and hazardous machinery.
- Must be able to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment.
