Job Description

Maintenance Technician - Automotive Manufacturing Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a prominent automotive Tier 1 manufacturer in the Duncan, SC area, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team! Shift Direct Hire/Full-Time Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Perform preventive and emergency maintenance to ensure operational uptime. Conduct safety audits, perform Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and maintain maintenance records. Interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders. Maintain a clean, safe, and OSHA-compliant work environment. Participate in continuous improvement, safety, and environmental programs (including
ISO14001
). Order parts, manage spare inventory, and ensure contractor safety compliance.
Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED is required. 3-5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience is required. Automotive Tier 1 experience is a must-have. Strong knowledge of electrical codes, PLC/PC systems, hydraulics, and mechanical systems. Must possess effective communication and teamwork skills. Valid Driver's License is required.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and sit for extended periods. Maintain alertness and proper vision to perform tasks safely.
