2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic

Hours:

3PM-2:30AM or 6PM-6:30AM Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on packaging equipment to prevent downtime Troubleshoot mechanical issues using tools such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical faults accurately Repair or replace defective parts promptly to minimize production disruptions Maintain detailed maintenance logs and documentation for all repairs and inspections Collaborate with production teams to coordinate maintenance activities without interrupting workflow Ensure all safety protocols are followed during maintenance procedures to maintain a safe work environment Assist in setting up new machinery or upgrades to improve packaging efficiency and reliability Qualifications Proven experience with mechanical maintenance, ideally within a manufacturing environment Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams Familiarity with electrical troubleshooting tools such as ohmmeters is required Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude toward equipment issues Ability to work independently and efficiently during the 2nd shift hours Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety standards Join us in delivering excellence through innovative solutions!
