Overview We're seeking a dynamic Lead Remodeler/Handyman to spearhead renovation projects, handle diverse repair tasks, and elevate the quality of our residential and commercial remodeling efforts. LEGACY is looking for a Lead Remodeler / Handyman to take ownership of renovation projects, work hands-on in the field, and help guide jobs to completion the right way. This is a working leadership role —you'll be on-site daily using your skills while also helping keep projects organized, efficient, and moving forward. If you enjoy problem-solving, working across multiple trades, and seeing a project come together from start to finish, this is a strong opportunity. Responsibilities Lead remodeling projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards. Perform a wide array of repair and renovation tasks including carpentry, drywall installation, painting, flooring, tile work, plumbing repairs, electrical upgrades, and fixture installation. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute project plans. Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and fabrication machinery safely and efficiently. Inspect construction sites regularly to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications. Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and team members to ensure smooth workflow and clear communication. Manage construction estimating tasks and assist in construction management activities to optimize resources and timelines. Skills Strong knowledge of various trades including masonry, roofing, framing carpentry, trim carpentry, drywall installation, glass installation, electrical, plumbing, cabinet installation, flooring (tile and other materials), restoration techniques, caulking, fixture installation, and demolition. Skilled in the operation of power tools such as saws, drills, grinders Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety compliance and quality assurance. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients alike. What You'll Be Doing Lead remodeling projects from start to finish with a focus on quality and efficiency Perform hands-on work across multiple trades: Carpentry (framing, trim, installs) Drywall, painting, flooring, tile Basic plumbing and electrical fixture work Read and follow plans, layouts, and project scopes Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently Keep job sites clean, organized, and professional Communicate with the office, team members, and clients as needed Identify and solve problems in the field before they slow the job down What We're Looking For Strong hands-on experience in remodeling, handyman work, and carpentry Ability to handle a wide variety of tasks (not just one trade) Comfortable reading plans or understanding layouts Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Self-motivated and able to work without constant supervision Good communication and problem-solving skills Reliable transportation and your own tools Experience Required 5 years Experience leading jobs or small crews Remodeling experience or job planning experience Experience with multiple trades (tile, cabinets, trim, etc.) Requirements MUST have a Drivers License MUST be Legally able to work MUST have
