In this role, you aren t just watching a machine run; you are the guardian of product integrity and operational efficiency.The Role:
Precision & Performance As our lead operator, your primary mission is to ensure every bag leaving our facility meets the highest standards of quality. You will be the technical expert on the floor, responsible for:Precision Weight Control:
You will troubleshoot and correct weight variances, making real-time machine adjustments to ensure cost-effective filling without compromising quality.Quality Assurance:
From monitoring label clarity to verifying airtight bag seals, you will ensure every unit meets strict specifications.Mechanical Troubleshooting:
You ll keep the line moving by identifying and resolving pileups, jams, and malfunctions. You are empowered to stop, reset, and restart equipment to maintain peak performance.Sanitation Leadership:
You will lead allergen wash efforts and equipment changeovers-disassembling, sanitizing, and reassembling machinery to maximize safety and efficiency. What You ll Do Maintain packaging machines, conveying systems, and metal detectors. Support the team by assisting and relieving packing operators as needed. Manage essential paperwork and ensure all labels and materials are production-ready. Uphold world-class standards by strictly following SQF, GMPs, and safety rules. Monitor label printing, verifying filled bag meets specifications. Make machine adjustments that will control printing variances, maximizing the cost-effective filling of a quality product. Monitor bag seals, verifying the filled bag meets specifications. Make machine adjustments that will control seal issues, maximizing the cost-effective filling of a high-quality product. Monitor the production line for problems such as pileups, jams, and bag seal issues. Troubleshoot and correct line problems, maximizing the cost-effective filling of a high-quality product. Assist packers as needed. Stop, reset, and start machines when malfunctions occur, maximizing the cost-effective filling of a high-quality product. Ensure paperwork, labels, and boxes are ready as needed. Lead allergen wash efforts to disassemble, wash, sanitize, and assemble equipment, maximizing the changeover cost-effectiveness.
