Job Description
Job Summary Alianza Staffing is hiring an experienced Sign Installer / Outside Technician for a custom signage company in Myrtle Beach, SC. This position is responsible for installing, servicing, removing, and repairing commercial signage at customer locations. Candidates with bucket truck experience are strongly preferred. This role requires someone who is comfortable working outdoors, at heights, and around commercial signs, lighting, and installation equipment. Responsibilities Install exterior and interior commercial signs at customer locations Assist with sign service, repairs, removals, replacements, and maintenance Operate or assist with bucket truck work, if qualified Install sign panels, channel letters, sign cabinets, posts, lighting components, and related materials Load, unload, transport, and organize signs, tools, and installation materials Read and follow work orders, measurements, site notes, and installation instructions Use ladders, lifts, hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment safely Work outdoors in varying weather conditions Communicate professionally with customers and team members while on-site Follow all safety procedures while working at heights or around equipment Qualifications Previous sign installation experience preferred Bucket truck experience strongly preferred Experience with exterior signs, commercial signs, sign removals, or lighting service is a plus Comfortable working outdoors and at heights Ability to use ladders, lifts, hand tools, and power tools Basic electrical or lighting experience is a plus Valid driver's license preferred Must be dependable, safety-focused, and able to work as part of a team Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as needed Must be able to work full-time, Monday-Friday Schedule This is a full-time, Monday-Friday day shift position. Typical hours are 8:00 AM-5:00 PM , based on business needs. Start times may vary depending on jobsite location, installation schedule, weather, or customer access requirements. Weekend work is not typically scheduled, but occasional overtime or weekend work may be required depending on project deadlines or installation needs. Pay $18-$25 per hour, based on experience.
