Maintenance Technician RealManage, LLC - 2.6 North Charleston, SC Job Details Full-time $25 - $30 an hour 16 hours ago Benefits Paid holidays Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Life insurance Qualifications Bilingual Customer communication Maintenance High school diploma or GED Property maintenance Facilities maintenance Full Job Description Maintenance Technician - Homeowners Association (HOA)Position Summary The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the general maintenance, repair, and upkeep of common areas, facilities, and equipment within the homeowners association community. This position helps ensure the property remains safe, functional, clean, and visually appealing while providing excellent service to residents and management. Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs for HOA common areas, buildings, amenities, and grounds Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities Respond to maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner Inspect community property for safety hazards, damages, and maintenance needs Repair or coordinate repairs involving plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, lighting, irrigation, and minor HVAC issues Maintain pools, clubhouses, fitness centers, playgrounds, gates, sidewalks, and other community amenities Assist with landscaping upkeep and exterior maintenance as needed Ensure compliance with safety standards and HOA regulations Maintain maintenance logs, inventory, and supply records Work with vendors and contractors when specialized repairs are required Participate in emergency maintenance response during storms, outages, or urgent situations Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with residents, board members, and management staff Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 2+ years of maintenance or property maintenance experience preferred Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment safely Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and prioritizeize tasks Good communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Preferred Skills Experience in HOA, condominium, or property management maintenance Pool maintenance certification (if applicable) HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certifications are a plus Work Environment Full-time position May require on-call availability for emergencies Work performed outdoors in residential community settings Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Retirement plan options
