6-Month Contract-to-Hire We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support a 24/7 manufacturing operation. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial production equipment and facility systems in a safety-focused environment. This is a hands-on maintenance role requiring strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, experience working in industrial manufacturing environments, and the ability to work safely around production equipment, elevated work areas, and confined spaces.

Responsibilities :

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems Maintain and repair pumps, compressors, conveyors, piping systems, valves, and production equipment Diagnose issues involving 480V 3-phase motors, PLC-operated equipment, and control systems Support continuous plant operations through on-call coverage, overtime, and rotating shift support as needed Follow all plant safety procedures and PPE requirements Document maintenance activities and repairs accurately

Qualifications :

Previous experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment Chemical plant or process manufacturing experience preferred Technical education or certifications in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or related field preferred Experience working with: Centrifugal and AODD pumps Air compressors Screw conveyors Belts and pulleys Pneumatic and hydraulic systems Chillers Piping systems and valves Working knowledge of: 480V 3-phase motors PLC-controlled equipment Industrial control systems Strong commitment to workplace safety

Additional Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 60 lbs Comfortable working at heights up to 140 feet Ability to climb stairs and ladders and work in confined spaces Must be able to wear a tight-fitting respirator and comply with clean-shaven safety requirements where applicable Forklift experience preferred
