Maintenance & Mechatronics Technicians•
BRAND NEW AUTOMAT4ED FACILITY FOR NATIONAL COMPANY

Summerville, SC Position Type:
Contract-to-Hire (4 months)
Pay Rates:
MRT (Mid-Level Technician): $32.50/hr SMRT (Sr Technician): $42.65/hr Position Overview We are hiring multiple Maintenance and Mechatronics Technicians to support a new, state-of-the-art distribution facility in Summerville, SC. These roles support a Reliability Maintenance & Engineering (RME) team responsible for maintaining highly automated material handling and robotic systems. Technicians will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain conveyors, robotics, and automated equipment to ensure maximum uptime and operational efficiency.   • Wednesday (Day or Night) Wednesday
  • Saturday (Day or Night) Shift hours: 6:00 AM
  • 6:00 PM OR 7:00 AM
  • 7:00 PM (Final schedules to be confirmed)
  • Must be open to working either day or night shift to start
  • Key Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance on conveyors, robotics, and automated equipment Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems Maintain and repair material handling equipment (MHE), including belts, motors, sensors, and relays Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals Diagnose equipment issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime Document maintenance activities and track work orders in a CMMS system Follow all safety procedures and standards Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase system reliability Sr-level technicians will mentor junior team members and assist with advanced troubleshooting Qualifications (Mid-Level Technicians): 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience Experience with automated conveyor systems or material handling equipment Basic knowledge of electrical systems and schematics Experience with preventative maintenance and troubleshooting Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment (Sr Level Technicians): 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience Advanced troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, and control systems Experience working with PLCs, sensors, drives, and automated systems Strong ability to read schematics and perform diagnostics Leadership or mentoring experience preferred Education Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Compliance Requirements Drug screening required Bg screening required Work Environment Highly automated distribution/fulfillment facility Exposure to robotics, conveyors, and high-speed equipment Fast-paced operations with a focus on uptime and efficiency Must be comfortable working 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends Interview Process Criteria assessment Interview with hiring manager Offer If interested and meet these requirements below, please click on my interview phone screening link: Recruiting Manager•Emma Howard (ehoward @aerotek.
