Maintenance Supervisor / Plant Engineer Job Summary Responsible for performing maintenance tasks specific to the Maintenance Technician Level I role in a processing environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform routine preventive maintenance and lubrication of machinery. Assist in basic troubleshooting of mechanical equipment. Document all maintenance activities in the CMMS system. Comply with safety and sanitation regulations. Report equipment issues to supervisor promptly.
Qualifications Education & Experience:
High school diploma or GED required. 1+ year of mechanical or maintenance experience preferred. Basic understanding of mechanical systems and tools. Certifications & Licenses Forklift Certification (preferred) Lockout/Tagout training Tools & Equipment Used Hand tools Grease guns Basic power tools Core Competencies Attention to Detail Teamwork Safety Awareness Work Environment Work is performed in a refrigerated beef processing plant with exposure to cold temperatures, wet conditions, and noise. Physical Requirements Lift 50 lbs frequently Stand/walk for up to 10 hours Bend, stoop, kneel
