Apartment Maintenance Handyman

Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in general maintenance, be self-motivated, and have a strong work ethic. This role is essential in ensuring our properties are in excellent condition and our residents' needs are promptly addressed.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs in occupied and vacant units Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance issues Conduct property inspections and identify potential maintenance needs Assist in unit turns, including painting, drywall repair, cleaning, and appliance installation Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment Ensure compliance with safety and building codes Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in property maintenance or a related field Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliances Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently Valid driver's license and reliable transportation High school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required Meyer Property Management is a Dakota based property management company specializing in income-based apartment rentals.
