Job Description We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Part-Time Groundskeeper / Maintenance Technician to help maintain our manufactured housing community, onsite leased property, community office and common areas within the North Star & Sunrise MH communities. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has landscaping and general maintenance experience, and takes pride in keeping properties clean, safe, and well-maintained. Responsibilities Lawn mowing and general grounds maintenance Weed trimming/weed eating (string trimmer operation) Yard cleanup and seasonal landscaping tasks Small tree removal and pruning Leaf blowing and debris removal Park and common area cleanup Trash pickup throughout the property General handyman and odd-job repairs for apartment units and common areas Painting buildings, structures, and parking lot striping Snow and ice management, including: Sidewalk snow removal, Salting and sanding walkways and parking areas Follow all safety procedures and compliance requirements Maintain equipment and report maintenance needs Assists community management as needed with day to day tasks Requirements Valid South Dakota Driver's License Clean driving record Minimum 1 year of experience in landscaping, mowing, yard cleanup, or grounds maintenance Minimum 1 year of handyman or general maintenance experience Ability to operate landscaping and maintenance equipment safely Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as needed safely Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently Ability to interact well with tenants living in the community and management staff Ability to manage multiple tasks in a day through to completion Knowledge of workplace safety practices and compliance standards Preferred Qualifications Experience with apartment, commercial, or property maintenance Experience operating mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment Experience with snow removal equipment and winter maintenance Compensation Pay is based on experience and qualifications.
