In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and reliable environment by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs across a variety of systems. Responsibilities Conduct regular inspections of building systems, machinery, and equipment to identify potential issues before they escalate. Perform repairs and maintenance on appliances, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems, electrical components, plumbing, and mechanical equipment. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and diagrams to accurately diagnose problems and execute repairs. Troubleshoot HVAC systems, refrigeration units, air conditioning units, and related mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance. Lead small maintenance projects or assist construction teams during facility upgrades or renovations. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used to ensure compliance and facilitate future troubleshooting. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management to minimize downtime and disruptions. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical maintenance. Demonstrated ability to read schematics and technical diagrams for troubleshooting complex systems. Knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, and related controls. Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in equipment repair and general maintenance tasks. Construction or building maintenance experience is preferred for handling facility upgrades or installations. Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently or lead small teams when necessary. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues accurately. Relevant certifications such as HVAC/R license or equivalent are highly desirable; ongoing training is encouraged.
