Maintenance Technician Bristol Tru by Hilton 51 Centre Point Dr, Bristol, TN 37620 Full-time Full-time Chief Engineer / Maintenance Engineer Tru by Hilton West Bristol - Bristol, TN Full-Time | 9am to 5pm | On-Call Required Position Summary Tru by Hilton West Bristol is seeking an experienced, dependable, and hands-on Chief Engineer to oversee all aspects of hotel maintenance, preventative maintenance programs, life safety systems, and property upkeep. The Chief Engineer is responsible for ensuring the hotel remains safe, functional, and compliant with brand standards while providing an exceptional guest experience. This position requires a strong leader who can effectively prioritize maintenance needs, manage vendors and contractors, respond to emergencies, and maintain the overall condition of the property. Adhere to brand, health department, safety and OSHA standards. Oversee subcontractors when needed. Essential Responsibilities Oversee the daily operation of the Maintenance Department. Perform preventative maintenance on guest rooms, public areas, and hotel equipment. Maintain HVAC systems, PTAC units, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building repairs. Ensure compliance with all Hilton brand standards, company policies, and safety regulations. Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and emergency situations. Monitor and maintain fire alarm, life safety, and security systems. Coordinate repairs with outside vendors and contractors as needed. Conduct routine property inspections and identify corrective actions. Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and preventative maintenance records. Manage departmental expenses and assist with budget planning. Assist with hotel renovation projects and capital improvement initiatives. Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment. Participate in on-call coverage and respond to after-hours emergencies when necessary. Qualifications Previous hotel maintenance experience preferred. Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently. Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and life safety systems. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor as needed. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred. Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations. Preferred Experience Hospitality maintenance leadership experience. Hilton brand experience preferred, but not required. Experience with hotel fire alarm and life safety systems.
