Maintenance & Delivery Technician EquipGo Rentals EquipGo Rentals, LLC | Chapel Hill, TN | Full-Time | Hourly | Pay Negotiable Maintenance & Delivery Technician EquipGo Rentals, LLC is seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined Maintenance & Delivery Technician to support our Chapel Hill location. This position is responsible for transporting equipment to and from customer job sites, ensuring safe loading and secure hauling, and performing routine in-house maintenance and minor repairs on rental equipment. We primarily operate compact and mini equipment including skid steers, mini skids, and excavators. The ideal candidate has experience hauling equipment (CDL not required, but a plus) and is comfortable performing preventative maintenance and basic mechanical repairs. Roles & Responsibilities Safely transport equipment to and from customer locations Load and secure compact and mini equipment for delivery and pick-up Perform pre- and post-delivery inspections Conduct routine maintenance including: Replacing tracks on skid steers and mini equipment Oil changes and fluid checks Air filter replacement Basic troubleshooting and minor repairs Inspect returned equipment for damage and operational issues Coordinate with the front office regarding delivery schedules Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard and shop area Follow all company safety procedures and DOT guidelines (as applicable) Skills & Soft Skills Experience hauling equipment with a trailer Mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills Knowledge of compact/mini construction equipment Strong attention to safety and detail Dependable and self-motivated Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently Team-oriented attitude Requirements & Qualifications Experience hauling equipment (CDL not required; CDL is a plus) Valid driver's license required Experience with skid steers, mini skids, excavators, or similar equipment preferred Ability to lift heavy components and work in outdoor conditions Basic knowledge of preventative maintenance and minor equipment repairs Ability to work scheduled hours, including Saturdays Preferred Qualifications CDL certification Previous experience in equipment rental, construction, landscaping, or fleet maintenance Familiarity with trailer brake systems and equipment tie-down procedures

Pay:

$18.00 - $29.00 per hour
