Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join Hurd Real Estate at one of our properties in the Chattanooga market. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks including, but not limited to: market ready prep; plumbing, electrical, pool care, and HVAC repairs and installation. There will also be basic maintenance activities such as grounds clean up and pressure washing. This person will work with an onsite team at Waterford Place. This role requires a strong background in property maintenance, with a focus on customer service, and attention to detail. - Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and make ready preparation.
HVAC / EPA
certification and experience required.- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with equipment, machinery, and systems.
- Use logic and other diagnostic tools to analyze and fix problems.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to prevent need for repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to requests and addressing concerns in a courteous and professional manner.
- Collaborate with other maintenance technicians to achieve team goals.
- Keep the work area clean and organized, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as required, including but not limited to grounds clean up, pressure washing, and general cleaning
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
HVAC/EPA
card required. CPO preferred- At least 2 years of experience in apartment maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and tools.
- Proficiency in using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.
- Proficiency in English.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
