This position is directly supervised by the Maintenance Director, and will assist in a variety of areas, including, but not limited to:

• Responsible for daily maintenance of fitness equipment. Fitness equipment includes cardiovascular, weight machines, and free weights.
• Performing repairs and preventative maintenance on gym and facility equipment including; pools, hot tubs, saunas, HVAC systems, water heaters and boiler, etc
• General facility maintenance is required
• Communicate and coordinate with the fitness and service desk staff and equipment vendors
• Purchase parts and equipment and track warranty related information
• Be alert for the security and safety of self and others job requirements
• Knowledge of building skills such as electrical, plumbing, painting, minor carpentry, welding and upholstery
• Some local travel required
• A self-starter with highly developed problem solving skills
• Ability to plan, organize and manage a variety of tasks
• Understand and practice positive customer/member relations
• High School diploma or equivalent Attitudes to be exhibited
• Cooperative, positive with an optimistic attitude
• Enthusiasm for the facility and for the job

Pay:

$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
