Job Title:
Maintenance Technician Job Description Join a dynamic team as a Maintenance Technician, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of advanced packaging machinery. This position involves performing regular inspections, repairs, and adjustments, while maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Responsibilities Conduct regular inspections, repairs, and adjustments on packaging machinery. Diagnose and resolve equipment issues using mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic skills. Maintain accurate equipment history and maintenance documentation. Uphold safety standards and regulations to ensure a safe work environment. Keep work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free. Support smooth changeovers by setting up and adjusting packaging machinery for new product runs. Perform line clearances and prepare production lines for startup. Conduct equipment tests to verify performance and product quality. Support spare parts inventory management. Work with procurement to order parts and supplies as needed. Essential Skills High school diploma or GED equivalent. Basic knowledge of pneumatics, electrical, and mechanical systems. Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Regular bending, squatting, standing, climbing, and handling objects. Frequent lifting up to 25 lbs, occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. Additional Skills & Qualifications Professional Certificates/Associate's Degree Preferred but not required. Technical skills gained through education or hands-on experience. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clinton, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
