Responsibilities The ideal candidate will be proficient in a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to: General Repairs:
Drywall repair/patching, painting, fence repair, caulking, weatherstripping, etc. Minor Plumbing:
Fixing leaky faucets, replacing fixtures, unclogging drains. Minor Electrical:
Installing light fixtures, ceiling fans, outlets, and switches. Carpentry:
Installing trim, baseboards, shelving, cabinet repair, basic framing. Installation:
Installing doors, windows, appliance hookups, and furniture assembly. Client Interaction:
Representing The Handy Smith brand by providing polite, clear, and professional customer service at all times. Requirements & Expectations Our reputation is built on reliability, skill, and professionalism. The following are non-negotiable:
Exceptional Attendance and Punctuality:
A consistent work schedule is paramount. Reliability is the single most important factor for this position. Professional Appearance:

Must have a reliable vehicle (truck or van preferred) capable of transporting necessary tools and materials to job sites throughout Greene County. Tools:
Must have and maintain your own full set of professional-grade tools. (Preferable but negotiable for the right experienced candidate). Experience:
Proven professional experience as a Handyman, Maintenance Technician, or in a related trade is required. Drug Test:
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening. Schedule Standard Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Flexibility:
Occasional Saturdays will be required based on client scheduling demands. Compensation & Benefits (1099 Independent Contractor) As a 1099 Independent Contractor , you will be responsible for your own taxes and business expenses. The Handy Smith offers:
