Job Description

Job Opportunity:
Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift) We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated Maintenance Technician to join our 2nd shift team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring our facility operates at peak efficiency by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing critical machinery.
Pay Range:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour (commensurate with experience) Key Responsibilities Your primary objective is to minimize downtime and maximize production through proactive and reactive maintenance.
Preventative Maintenance:
Conduct scheduled inspections and maintenance on all equipment to ensure peak operational efficiency.
Troubleshooting:
Diagnose complex issues involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Repairs:
Perform timely repairs and replacements of faulty components and machinery.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs performed.
Safety & Organization:
Adhere to all safety regulations, maintain a clean workspace, and properly utilize power tools and equipment.
Collaboration:
Work effectively with other departments to meet production goals and communicate status updates clearly.
Qualifications & Skills Education:
High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or an Associate s degree in a related field is preferred.
Technical Expertise:
mechanical aptitude with specific knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Reading Mastery:
Ability to interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Soft Skills:
problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work productively without constant supervision.
Communication:
Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently to follow directions and coordinate with the team.
Physical Requirements & Environment Stamina:
Ability to stand for at least 8 hours and work overtime as needed.
Strength:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Agility:
Ability to repetitively stoop, bend, climb, crawl, and kneel for extended periods.
