Job Description

Position Summary:
Work efficiently, safely, and within designated quality standards. Successes of the Maintenance Technician are measured via the following key indicators: Maintains machines, facility and grounds to ensure production goals are met Maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organized work environment
Position Responsibilities:
Supports the Company's Mission Statement Follows and enforces safety procedures Performs job according to standard operating procedures (SAP) Maintains clean and safe work environment Trouble shoots mechanical problems on all machines Performs preventive maintenance on all machines Repairs machines correctly to manufactures specifications Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits Replaces motors in equipment as needed Troubleshooting wiring problems, programmable logic controls, and pneumatic and hydraulic systems Perform any task required to aid and ensure in successful production
Working Conditions:
Various noise levels from operating machinery and equipment Moving equipment and machine parts Electrical currents Fumes, dust, and mist Skin exposure to oils, inks, paints, and fluids
Skills and Qualifications:
Troubleshooting skills Mechanical reasoning skills Electrical reasoning skills Ability to take apart and reassemble machines correctly Good math skills Organizational skills Good communication skills Current and valid driver's license with a good driving record (may be asked to drive company vehicle)
Physical Requirements:
Lifting up 20 - 30 pounds daily Lifting up to 100 pounds regularly Lifting up to 200 pounds often (team-lift assist) Standing & walking constantly Climbing & balancing regularly Hearing ability: ability to hear and interpret sounds to monitor machine variations; ability to identify and diagnose machine changes in order to take appropriate action Visual acuity: near acuity and accommodation is required for general communications and product identification Color Vision Test—or some other test deemed appropriate for discerning color variation in product.
