Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE
At Asbury Place Kingsport, our residents call this place home•and you'll be the person who keeps it that way. As our Maintenance Technician, you'll handle everything from electrical and plumbing repairs to grounds upkeep and equipment maintenance. Your work is visible, meaningful, and directly improves the daily lives of the seniors in our care. This is a hands-on, on-site role where no two days look the same and where the people around you (team members and residents) genuinely notice and appreciate what you do.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the facility•electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical Inspect equipment and building systems to ensure safe, efficient operation Respond to maintenance requests from residents and staff with a positive, can-do attitude Maintain the exterior grounds, keeping the community clean and welcoming Operate company vehicles to support facility needs Follow all safety protocols and assist with resident evacuations in emergency situations Collaborate with team members across departments to keep everything running smoothly
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required:
Hands-on knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, climb ladders, and work in tight or confined spaces Strong communication skills•you'll regularly interact with residents, families, and staff Valid driver's license to operate company vehicles Ability to make quick, independent decisions•especially in urgent situations Team-oriented mindset and a professional, respectful approach with all people Nice to
Have:
Prior maintenance experience in a senior living, healthcare, or hospitality setting Familiarity with HVAC systems or preventive maintenance programs
