General Maintenance Technician

Job Overview BH Electronics, Inc. is seeking a skilled and reliable General Maintenance Technician to support operations across two plant locations in Munford and Brighton. This position is responsible for performing routine maintenance, machine and equipment repairs, and facility and grounds upkeep to ensure both locations operate safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Perform general maintenance and repair tasks including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC basics. Conduct routine inspections and tests of equipment and facilities Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and production emergencies to minimize downtime. Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance and work areas. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment and machinery. Collaborate with production staff to understand equipment issues and recommend solutions.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a relevant field preferred. Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Familiarity with maintenance management systems and tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if necessary. Time management, reliability, and punctuality Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, and climb as needed. Comfort working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions Additional Requirements Valid driver's license required with a clean driving record Ability to travel between our Munford, TN and Brighton, TN plant locations as needed.
