In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing windows and doors across various residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will ensure that each installation meets quality standards, safety regulations, and client specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your hands-on skills and construction knowledge to deliver exceptional results. Duties Measure openings accurately using blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure precise fitment of windows and doors Install a variety of window and door types, including frame carpentry, glass installation, and fixture setup, adhering to safety standards and manufacturer guidelines Use hand tools, power tools and extension ladders safely to perform installations efficiently on construction sites Conduct inspections during and after installation to verify proper operation, alignment, sealing (caulking), and finishing touches such as trim carpentry and painting Qualifications Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on window and door installation or related trades such as carpentry or remodeling Proficiency with hand tools, power tools Knowledge of various construction techniques including framing Ability to interpret technical drawings related to glass installation, fixture setup, cabinetry, or restoration projects Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
