Duties Perform routine pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing, and water balancing to maintain optimal water quality. Conduct regular inspections of pool equipment such as filters, pumps, heaters, and chlorinators to identify issues early. Repair and troubleshoot pool equipment using hand tools and power tools, ensuring minimal downtime for clients. Maintain accurate records of service visits, repairs performed, and maintenance schedules for each client. Communicate clearly with customers about service needs, safety procedures, and maintenance recommendations. Assist with opening and closing pools seasonally or as needed. Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure working environment at all times. Requirements Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair or maintenance. Prior experience as a service technician or in pool maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Strong understanding of pool cleaning techniques and water chemistry fundamentals. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues. Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy equipment as needed. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred.
