Maintenance Technician

Multicraft Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift Job Description This role offers the opportunity to work as a multicraft maintenance technician on 2nd shift in an industrial manufacturing environment. You will perform both mechanical and electrical maintenance on a wide range of plant equipment, including conveyor systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, three-phase motors, and production machinery. This is a contract position covering a full-time employee on medical leave, making it an excellent fit for someone seeking a temporary, yet challenging and rewarding, maintenance opportunity. Responsibilities Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on all plant equipment, including conveyor systems, production machines, and other manufacturing equipment. Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime and maintain safe, efficient operation. Work with three-phase motors and associated control systems to diagnose and resolve equipment issues. Use a multimeter to perform electrical troubleshooting on systems operating at 480, 110, and 24 volts. Troubleshoot and maintain AC/DC control systems to ensure reliable equipment performance. Read and interpret electrical schematics to identify faults and perform accurate repairs. Conduct preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components to reduce unplanned outages. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions. Collaborate with production and other maintenance personnel to support safe and efficient plant operations. Complete maintenance tasks and documentation in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with plant standards. Essential Skills Proven experience in industrial maintenance with both mechanical and electrical responsibilities. Hands-on experience with hydraulics and pneumatics in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Ability to troubleshoot and repair conveyor systems and production machinery. Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting using a multimeter. Experience working with 480, 110, and 24 volt systems. Knowledge of AC/DC control systems and their troubleshooting. Ability to read and work from electrical schematics. Strong mechanical maintenance skills in an industrial setting. High school diploma or equivalent. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Pulaski, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $34.52 - $34.52/hr.
