Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations in Savannah, TN . This role is responsible for performing basic equipment maintenance, preventive tasks, and general facility repairs. The Maintenance Technician helps ensure production lines remain safe, efficient, and reliable by assisting senior technicians and stepping in to handle routine maintenance needs. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, and eager to grow within a collaborative team environment. What You'll Do Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to restore production Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Work on production equipment including conveyors, pumps, motors, and molding systems Diagnose issues and make repairs with minimal supervision Complete work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records Support facility systems (air compressors, utilities, etc.) Follow strict safety and quality standards at all times What We're Looking For 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience
REQUIRED
Strong troubleshooting skills in manufacturing environments Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Ability to read schematics and technical documentation Experience working in a fast-paced production environment Welding/fabrication experience is a plus PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus Must be reliable, self-driven, and able to respond to urgent breakdowns Education & Experience High school diploma or GED required. 2+ years of maintenance, machine repair, or related experience preferred. Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus. Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems required. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, and kneeling. Comfortable working in varying temperatures, noise levels, and around moving machinery. Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required at all times.
