In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and maintenance of our facilities and equipment. Your expertise will help keep our environment efficient, reliable, and safe for all team members. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and leadership abilities to a fast-paced setting. You will perform a variety of maintenance tasks, from repairing appliances to managing HVAC systems, contributing directly to the smooth functioning of our operations. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems, machinery, and equipment to minimize downtime. Repair and troubleshoot appliances, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), electrical systems, plumbing, and mechanical components. Read schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective solutions. Conduct HVAC/R servicing including air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and ventilation equipment to ensure optimal performance. Lead small maintenance projects or assist construction teams during facility upgrades or renovations. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management to resolve issues efficiently. Experience Proven experience as a Service Technician or Maintenance Technician in a commercial or industrial environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair, equipment repair, and general maintenance tasks. Familiarity with schematics, technical diagrams, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, and electrical wiring. Knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration technology is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to lead or assist with construction projects or large-scale maintenance initiatives. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical issues independently. Prior experience working with schematics and technical manuals is preferred.
