This position is responsible for completing turnover repairs between tenants, addressing maintenance issues, and ensuring homes are rent-ready.
Responsibilities:
Perform minor electrical repairs such as replacing outlets, switches, light fixtures, ceiling fans, and troubleshooting basic electrical issues. Perform light plumbing repairs including faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, drain clogs, and fixture replacement. Repair drywall holes, texture walls, and complete interior painting and touch-up work. Install and repair doors, locks, hardware, blinds, and trim. Complete punch-list items during tenant move-outs and move-ins. Perform basic carpentry and general home repairs. Coordinate material purchases and maintain inventory of common supplies. Document completed work and communicate repair status. Maintain clean and safe job sites.
Requirements:
2+ years of residential maintenance, handyman, or property maintenance experience. Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, and carpentry. Ability to diagnose and solve maintenance issues independently. Must have own tools suitable for residential repair work. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions. Strong communication and time-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with rental properties or property management companies. HVAC troubleshooting experience. Ability to perform make-ready services for rental homes.
