This full-time role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our residential properties. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of repair and maintenance tasks to ensure the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of our residents.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repair work including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting. Respond promptly and effectively to maintenance requests and emergency repairs. Assist with apartment make-ready tasks between residents. Conduct regular inspections of property facilities and equipment. Maintain tools, equipment, and supply inventory in good condition. Collaborate with team members and property management to ensure maintenance goals are met. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Support special maintenance projects as assigned. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications a plus. 1-3 years' experience in general maintenance or related field preferred. Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry systems. Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs independently. Strong organizational and communication skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or on-call as needed. Commitment to safety and attention to detail.
