Full Job Description Shift :

Monday through Friday from 3pm to 11:30pm Overview Join our dynamic team as a Floor Technician working the 2nd shift! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment across various commercial and institutional facilities. Your expertise in floor care and janitorial services will ensure that our spaces are inviting, hygienic, and well-maintained. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of floors using appropriate methods such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Operate floor care equipment including buffers, polishers, extractors, and vacuums safely and effectively. Conduct routine janitorial duties such as trash removal, restroom sanitation, dusting, and surface cleaning to ensure a pristine environment. Apply environmentally friendly cleaning products and techniques to promote sustainability and safety within the facility. Inspect assigned areas regularly to identify maintenance needs or potential hazards, addressing them promptly or escalating as necessary. Follow detailed cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistent quality across all assigned spaces. Maintain proper documentation of cleaning activities and report any issues or damages to supervisory staff. Skills Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services with a focus on floor care and environmental services. Skilled in carpet cleaning techniques, buffing, stripping, waxing, and other floor maintenance procedures. Ability to operate various janitorial equipment safely and efficiently. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Knowledge of health and safety standards related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use. Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues clearly. A proactive attitude with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness in fast-paced environments.
