Make Ready Technician Ambers Construction Beaumont, TX Job Details Full-time From $1 an hour 4 hours ago Qualifications Residential painting Groundskeeping Attention to detail Manual handling Filter replacement Full Job Description We are seeking a motivated and dependable Make Ready Technician to join our apartment community team. The Make Ready Technician is responsible for preparing vacant apartments for new residents by completing repairs, painting, cleaning, and general maintenance tasks to ensure units are move-in ready. Pay is dependent on experience. Responsibilities Complete apartment make-readies and unit turns Perform sheetrock repairs, patching, and texture matching Paint apartments, walls, trim, and doors Replace blinds, light fixtures, switches, and hardware Complete basic plumbing repairs Complete basic electrical repairs Assist with HVAC maintenance and filter changes Clean and prepare units for move-in inspections Remove trash and debris from vacant units Complete work orders as assigned Maintain property grounds and common areas as needed Requirements Previous apartment maintenance or make-ready experience preferred Knowledge of painting, sheetrock repair, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC is a plus Must have reliable transportation Must have tools Ability to lift 50+ pounds Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Ability to work independently and as part of a team
