  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a dependable , hands-on Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair company vehicles and heavy machinery.
This role is ideal for a self-starter with strong mechanical skills , a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work independently while keeping our fleet compliant and operational. Responsibilities Perform routine and preventative maintenance on vehicles and heavy equipment, including: Oil changes, brakes, filters, lubrication/greasing AC, coolant, heater systems, belts, hoses, and fluid checks Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and system issues Repair or coordinate repairs to minimize downtime Safely haul heavy machinery and equipment Properly secure loads using correct tie-down and load-securing procedures Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections Manage vehicle and trailer registrations Coordinate and complete vehicle and trailer inspections Ensure all vehicles and trailers are inspected, tagged, and compliant with state and DOT regulations Maintain accurate maintenance, inspection, and compliance records Use fleet management software (Samsara or similar); training provided if needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Communicate clearly with management, drivers, and team members Qualifications Experience performing routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and/or heavy machinery Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills CDL preferred but not required Ability to safely transport and secure heavy equipment Computer-savvy; comfortable using maintenance and fleet software Knowledge of safety standards, DOT regulations, and best practices Strong communication and time-management skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance Preferred Skills Diesel engine experience Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems Basic welding or fabrication experience Experience working with fleet or construction equipment Ability to work flexible hours or respond to emergency repairs Physical Requirements Ability to lift heavy components and work in physically demanding conditions Ability to work indoors/outdoors in varying weather conditions Join us as a Maintenance Technician where your expertise drives operational success!
