In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for all staff and visitors. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and service technician experience to a variety of maintenance tasks across multiple systems. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, appliances, and other mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance. Complete work orders, inspections, and preventative maintenance tasks Conduct appliance repairs, including troubleshooting electrical and mechanical components to restore functionality quickly. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance and future reference. Assist with construction or renovation projects by providing technical support and ensuring safety standards are met. Coordinate with contractors during complex repairs or installations to ensure timely completion. Respond promptly to maintenance requests, prioritize tasks effectively, and communicate clearly with team members regarding status updates. Repair or replace fixtures, lighting, switches, outlets and minor electrical components Perform basic plumbing repairs Maintain building interior and exterior, including doors, flooring, walls and grounds Operate hand tools, power tools and maintenance equipment following safe measures Qualifications 3-5 years proven experience as a service technician or maintenance mechanic with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), or related fields. Solid understanding and working knowledge of electrical, plumbing & mechanical systems. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues efficiently using technical manuals and diagnostic tools. Basic electrical knowledge (120/240/480V, sensors and relays) Ability to read work orders, manuals and schematics Experience in construction or facility upgrades is a PLUS. Strong communication skills to clearly articulate technical information and coordinate with team members or contractors.
