A Requirement:

You have to be able to see and distinguish between shades of color in the GREEN and

PURPLE/BLUE

spectrums on a color chart. If you have color blindness in these spectrums, please do not apply because you will not be able to perform your job correctly with the color comparison equipment we use. We are hiring as we gear up for rapid growth. Technicians are responsible for excellent customer interface and quality of service for our residential and commercial customers. Employees must be able to communicate very well with the office staff. Great communication is a must for this job. Our best technicians are responsible, self motivated, polite, and responsive. Technicians enjoy working outdoors, love helping their customers, and take pride in their work.

Compensation:

• Base pay: $35,000/year W2 employment
• Commission on total pools cleaned An average technician with True Light Pools makes between $40-50k in W2 income with a very flexible schedule. Must have a valid drivers license, clean driving record, and be able to lift up to 50
• 100 pounds. Experience preferred but not mandatory. Duties
• Perform routine pool maintenance tasks, including cleaning and sanitizing pools and spa areas
• Test and balance pool chemicals to ensure proper water quality
• Inspect and maintain pool equipment, such as pumps, filters, and heaters
• Troubleshoot and repair pool equipment issues as needed
• Maintain accurate records of pool maintenance activities and chemical levels
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service Skills
• Strong knowledge of pool maintenance techniques and procedures
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools effectively
• Mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair pool equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Attention to detail to ensure accurate chemical balancing and water quality
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and address their concerns
