The ideal candidate has strong communication skills and will have worked hands-on in a manufacturing and construction environment, both indoors and outdoors on active job sites. This position will report to the Install Manager. Applicants should be comfortable climbing ladders up to one and a half stories up, working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and should express confidence when interacting with general contractors staff -- from site superintendents and project managers to fire marshals and building inspectors. The team lead sign installer is typically our first line of contact on the construction site, and thus a strong sense of accountability, careful attention to detailed work orders and on-the-fly problem solving skills are essential. We're looking for someone we can trust to uphold quality installation standards, and who is familiar reading and interpreting construction and architectural blueprints.

Essential job requirements:

Experience leading others and working well within teams Valid driver's license and clean driving record -- this is a must Ability to drive short to long distances as much as 65% of the time for installations within a multi-state radius. Must be able to lift large materials and packages and be able to work outdoors during summers and winters on job sites under construction. Bi-lingual a plus but not required Maintain a safe and clean working environment Keep track of all work equipment, tool boxes and customer products while on install trips Perform periodic other duties, as assigned Candidates invited to the short list of those strongly being considered for the position will need to pass a background and drug test This is a full-time position with typical work day hours Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 4:30pm; additional hours vary based on travel, install schedules and project location. Benefits include company paid travel time, covered meals and hotel stays while on installation trips, overtime pay (when authorized), opportunities for advancement, paid holidays and earned, paid vacation time. Pay rate will be negotiable but based on past experience working in the same or similar industry. However, applicants with little to no experience are also encouraged to apply as on the job training will be provided.
