This role is responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting issues, coordinating repairs, and ensuring all assets remain safe, functional, and well-maintained. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on residential, commercial, or company properties. Handle basic, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting and general repair work. Respond to maintenance requests and emergency repair situations. Maintain grounds, lighting, doors, locks, and building systems. Ensure properties comply with safety standards and local regulations. Inspect and maintain company vehicles and trailers. Schedule oil changes, tire rotations, brake service, and other preventative maintenance. Diagnose minor mechanical issues and coordinate major repairs with outside vendors. Maintain vehicle service records and inspection logs. Ensure vehicles remain clean, operational, and road-ready. Maintain tools, machinery, lawn equipment, generators, and other operational equipment. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and complete repairs when possible. Coordinate outside service when specialized repairs are needed. Track maintenance schedules and replacement needs. Maintain organized inventory of parts, tools, and supplies. Create and maintain maintenance logs. Handle livestock. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. 2+ years of maintenance, facilities, automotive, or equipment repair experienced preferred. General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems. Ability to safely operate tools and equipment. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Valid drivers license with clean driving record. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work indoors/outdoors in varying conditions. Preferred Skills HVAC certification, EPA certification, or trade certifications is a plus. Experiences with fleet maintenance Welding or fabrication experience preferred. Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking and reporting. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Ranch Maintenance. Work Environment Combination of indoor and outdoor work.
