PoolBurg LLC PoolBurg is seeking a top-tier Pool Equipment Installation & Repair Technician to join our team as a 1099 contractor. We are not a new construction company. Our focus is service, repair, equipment upgrades, automation, diagnostics, and renovations for homeowners throughout the DFW area. Many of our clients own high-end and luxury properties and expect exceptional workmanship, communication, and professionalism. This position is for an experienced industry professional who can independently diagnose issues, recommend solutions, complete repairs, and perform equipment installations to the highest standards. Schedule Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM No weekends Minimum Requirements 6+ years of verifiable pool industry experience Must own a fully equipped work truck Must provide all tools necessary to complete repairs and installations independently Must be able to diagnose and repair equipment without supervision Strong plumbing, electrical, hydraulic, and automation knowledge Clean driving record and valid driver's license Professional appearance and communication skills Preferred Certifications Highly preferred: Current CPO (Certified Pool Operator) Current Texas RAIL License Additional industry certifications are a plus. Candidates holding both a CPO and Texas RAIL License will receive priority consideration. Required Experience Applicants should be highly proficient with: Pentair equipment Jandy equipment Hayward equipment Variable speed pumps Pool heaters and heat pumps Salt systems Automation systems Equipment pad redesigns and upgrades Valve and actuator replacements Advanced plumbing repairs Equipment troubleshooting and diagnostics Electrical troubleshooting related to pool equipment Equipment startups and programming Technology & Communication PoolBurg operates through Housecall Pro for scheduling, dispatching, estimates, invoices, job notes, photos, and customer communication. Technicians must be comfortable using mobile software and technology All job documentation, photos, notes, and updates must be entered into Housecall Pro All customer communication must remain within PoolBurg systems Technicians may not solicit, market to, or perform side work for PoolBurg customers Maintaining accurate job records and photos is required for payment processing This Position Is NOT For Someone Who Needs training Primarily has cleaning experience Has only worked on new construction startups Cannot independently troubleshoot equipment failures Relies on manufacturer technical support for routine diagnostics Produces frequent callbacks Is looking for occasional side work Compensation Paid per completed repair or installation.
