About Rough Creek Lodge:
Rough Creek Lodge & Resort is a premier 5-star destination siting on 9,000 acres of land dedicated to maintaining world-class facilities. Facilities Maintenance Technicians are critical to our operations.
The Role:
As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities. This position involves a variety of tasks related to building maintenance, repairs, and general facility management. You will work in a team-oriented environment, collaborating closely with other maintenance staff to ensure that our facilities are safe, functional, and welcoming for all occupants.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks for buildings, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, providing effective troubleshooting and resolution.
  • Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring tools and materials are available for tasks.
  • Collaborate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or installations, as needed.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
What We Are Looking For:
  • A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
  • Proficient in using hand and power tools necessary for maintenance tasks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to handle physical tasks and lift heavy materials as needed.
Pay:
$18.00
