Job Description
We are looking for 1 or 2 full-time or part-time handymen/remodel tradesmen to join our team. Qualifications General skills. On any given day our handyman may be asked to put in a light, change a socket, put in a new faucet, hang some shelves, repair sheetrock, paint, put together furniture, hang a TV, repair molding and trim, install a new door, repair screens, install a dishwasher, install a garbage disposal, interior and exterior painting, install flooring. In our remodel side you will need to be able to perform: drywall repairs, install tile, both wall and floor, we work a lot with Schluter products so it would help if you had knowledge with this product as well. Own tools and transportation. We provide rarely used expensive tools like a chop saw, table saw, etc. Customer Service Focus - Good customer skills are just as important as good trade skills Ability to pass both a drug test and a background check. Benefits We pay by the hour, not the job, so time between clients is paid. Job is Monday through Friday 8 to 5. No weekends unless you want them. 99% of our work is within 25 miles from Katy, so there is very little driving once your day starts. Our customers love us and are easy to work with. Responsibilities Perform maintenance and light repairs Perform routine landscaping on the grounds Paint and fill gaps or crevices (on walls, sidewalks etc.) Undertake light installation or carpenting (e.g. build cabinets) Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks Identify and report the need for major repairs
