Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the optimal operation and safety of our facilities and equipment. In this energetic role, you will perform routine inspections, troubleshoot issues, and execute repairs across a variety of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient environment while supporting the overall functionality of our operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a dynamic setting, contributing to the smooth running of our facilities. Duties Conduct regular inspections of building systems including HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), refrigeration units, electrical panels, plumbing, and mechanical equipment. Troubleshoot and repair appliances, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, and other mechanical components using schematics and technical manuals. Perform preventive maintenance tasks to extend equipment lifespan and prevent unexpected failures. Diagnose issues using schematics and technical drawings; execute repairs efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Assist with construction or renovation projects by installing or modifying mechanical systems as needed. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference. Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during complex repair or installation projects to ensure timely completion. Experience Proven experience as a Service Technician or Maintenance Technician in commercial or industrial environments. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing appliances, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, and related equipment. Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools for troubleshooting complex systems. Knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, ventilation fans, and refrigerant handling. Experience in construction or facility maintenance is highly desirable. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide team members or coordinate with contractors effectively.
