Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Pool Technician and become a vital part of maintaining sparkling, safe, and inviting swimming pools. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring pools are clean, well-maintained, and functioning optimally. Your expertise will help create enjoyable aquatic experiences for our clients while showcasing your skills in equipment repair, pool maintenance, and troubleshooting. Responsibilities Perform routine pool cleaning tasks including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and emptying skimmer baskets to keep pools pristine. Conduct regular pool maintenance checks such as testing water chemistry levels and adjusting chemicals to ensure safe and balanced water conditions. Inspect and troubleshoot pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators; perform repairs or coordinate repairs as needed using hand tools and power tools. Maintain detailed service logs documenting work performed, chemical levels, equipment status, and customer interactions. Identify potential mechanical issues early by conducting thorough inspections and performing necessary repairs to prevent larger problems. Assist with the installation of new pool equipment or upgrades to existing systems to enhance functionality and efficiency. Follow safety protocols diligently during all maintenance activities to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and clients. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and accurately. Experience in equipment repair, including troubleshooting pumps, filters, heaters, and other pool systems. Proficiency in pool maintenance tasks such as chemical balancing, cleaning, and water testing. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in equipment installation and repair. Prior service technician experience is preferred; a background in pool or HVAC maintenance is a plus. Excellent attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills for record keeping and reporting. Ability to work independently while managing multiple service appointments efficiently.
