Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in various maintenance tasks, ensuring that our facilities and equipment remain in optimal condition. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities, including electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards. Fabricate and weld components as needed for repairs or modifications. Oversee residential painting projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to timelines. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory management. Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or residents during maintenance activities. Supervise junior maintenance staff, providing guidance and support as necessary. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs performed and materials used. Qualifications Proven experience in maintenance roles, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems. Proficiency in electrical work, welding, and fabrication techniques is highly desirable. Familiarity with CMMS software for efficient work order management. Strong English communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients. Previous experience in supervising maintenance staff is a plus. Excellent customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with residents or clients. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with maintenance work, including lifting heavy objects and working in various environments.
