The position:

The Make Ready is responsible for the efficient and timely preparation of apartment units to be re-leased, by performing turn of all vacant units, while meeting established quality standards.

The pay:

The anticipated pay range for this make ready opportunity is $21.00 an hour plus monthly bonuses and competitive benefits package.

Responsibilities:

Follows the make-ready checklist to complete necessary repairs and improvements to apartment homes prior to resident move-in, as directed by the Supervisor or manager. Inspects sheetrock and makes repairs; caulks and seals windows, sink areas, toilets, bathtubs, and showers; and performs touch-up paint. Maintains an inventory of supplies and equipment needed for make-ready tasks. Cuts expenses by fixing rather than replacing parts, and avoiding being wasteful with supplies. Assists with property curb appeal by picking up trash, pressure-washing, performing general cleaning, and painting, as needed. Complies with safety and risk-management policies by participating in the safety meetings, OSHA training, and other safety related laws and requirements, and by reporting accidents and incidents promptly and accurately. Delivers a high level of customer service by treating residents and others with respect and completing assigned work with efficiency and urgency. Performs other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent At least 1 year of experience in maintenance or related field, preferred. General knowledge in a variety of skilled trades including construction/installation, repair, and maintenance, drywall, basic carpentry, and make-ready. HVAC experience a plus but not required.
