Hotel Maintenance and Groundskeeper

From $19.00 per hour Job description: We're looking for a hands-on, dependable Maintenance Technician & Groundskeeper to join the team at our recently renovated boutique hotel. This is a key role that supports our existing maintenance team, reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager and General Manager. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance with a focus on curb appeal, room preventative maintenance, and pool maintenance. Take pool readings and distribute chemicals daily. Manicure grounds, flowerbeds, and lawns. Trash removal. Daily tickets for guest room issues may include light plumbing, carpentry, hvac. Act promptly to resolve emergency issues that could negatively impact guest satisfaction or the property condition. Communicate tasks effectively using mobile ticketing platform. Ability to prioritize tasks and communicate status updates to managers. Program smart locks. Duties may evolve based on the needs of the business. Requirements Must be familiar with plumbing, electrical, sewer and HVAC systems. Hotel industry experience is a plus. Unlicensed jacks of all trades welcome! Problem-solving attitude. Ability to identify issues and address them quickly. Attention to detail and physical stamina. Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes, weekends and holidays, including responding to evening requests. Willingness to respond to properties during emergencies. Reliable transportation
