Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled Hotel Maintenance Engineer to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of hotel facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial maintenance and mechanical knowledge, with experience in various technical areas such as HVAC, electrical systems, and hydraulics. The Hotel Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for performing repairs, conducting preventive maintenance, and providing excellent customer service to guests and staff. Duties Perform routine inspections and maintenance on hotel equipment and systems, including HVAC/R units, plumbing, electrical systems, and mechanical equipment. Troubleshoot and repair issues related to programmable logic controllers (PLC), scissor lifts, and other machinery. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and maintenance schedules. Conduct welding tasks, including stick welding, as needed for repairs or modifications. Read and interpret schematics to diagnose problems effectively. Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations, especially when working with high voltage or low voltage systems. Provide technical support for field service operations as required. Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction through timely repairs and maintenance services. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical issues. Engage in technical sales activities when necessary to support hotel operations. Experience Proven experience in industrial mechanics or maintenance within a manufacturing facility is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC systems and electrical troubleshooting. Familiarity with hydraulic systems and their maintenance requirements. Previous experience as an industrial electrician is a plus. Military experience related to technical fields is advantageous. Excellent analysis skills to identify problems quickly and implement effective solutions. Strong customer service skills to interact positively with guests and hotel staff. Proficiency in English for effective communication.
